Clean Room Panel Help Accelerate and Enhance the Efficiency of the Biomedicine Industry
In the rapid iteration of the global competition in the biopharmaceutical industry, the explosive growth in areas such as antibody drugs and gene therapy has given rise to the demand for ultra-large-scale production facilities. The scale and intelligence of biopharmaceutical production have become the focus of global competition. How to break through the capacity bottleneck, shorten the construction period and cost through engineering innovation has become the core proposition of the industry.
The birth of the super factory
The Bibo P03 factory (Shanghai · Lingang) is a wonder in the global biopharmaceutical manufacturing field: it is the largest single-tank production line in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry and the world's first ultra-large-scale production line. Accompanying it is a factory building that is 24 meters high and has a total area of 65,000 square meters, containing 11 million components and hundreds of core equipment. Each single line contains more than 5,000 key process nodes.
Facing such a complex systems engineering project, the project completed the entire process from design to engineering delivery in just 18 months. It was accomplished with high quality in less than half the time of similar international projects, successfully achieving an engineering miracle of "higher quality, shorter time, and lower cost". Behind this miracle lies the extremely high demands placed on the building envelope system: the rapid supply and construction needs under the huge volume, the structural stability challenges brought by the height of super high-rise buildings, the strict standards put forward by the clean production environment for the building envelope system, and the strict requirements of the pharmaceutical industry for green sustainability.
This "super factory", which is 24 meters high and covers a total area of 65,000 square meters, is not only a milestone in global biopharmaceutical manufacturing, but also has become the focus of the industry with its highly futuristic architectural appearance. The exterior facade of the building adopts Hongxinyuan Polyde ® BoxFacade® metal curtain wall panels, which deeply integrate "invisible technology" and "hardcore performance", building a powerful protective barrier for this "super factory".
Safeguard the production safety of super-large Spaces
Facing the structural challenges of super-large factories, Polyde ® curtain wall systems have achieved a breakthrough in wind pressure resistance through structural innovation and the application of high-strength materials, remaining as stable as a rock in the typhoon-prone environment along the coast of Lingang. The built-in rock wool fireproof core material and the PVC profile design of the plug-in interface create a thermal break insulation structure, forming a three-in-one protection system of "thermal insulation - fire prevention - load-bearing", ensuring the absolute stability of the building's facade under high loads and large temperature differences.
Build a zero-pollution protection barrier
The production of biopharmaceuticals has strict requirements for environmental cleanliness. The Polyde ® curtain wall system, as the first line of defense for buildings, features a fluorocarbon coating on its surface, which endows the building's skin with excellent self-cleaning properties and reduces dust adhesion. The tightly inserted interface structure and multi-layer sealing design achieve excellent air tightness, significantly reducing the interference of the external environment to the clean workshop.
Modular installation reduces costs and increases efficiency
Poly De ® curtain wall units are 100% prefabricated in factories, achieving "building block" installation on-site. The construction is fast and simple, significantly shortening the construction period, reducing labor costs, and forming a complete closed loop of cost reduction and efficiency improvement from design to delivery. This has become a key driving force for the project to set a new global construction speed record.
Build a benchmark for biomedicine parks
From material selection to production and installation, the carbon footprint of Polyde ® curtain wall systems throughout their entire life cycle is reduced, aligning with the ESG goals of the pharmaceutical industry. Its metallic texture surface, through the geometric splicing of parametric design, endows this super factory that prioritizes functionality with the aesthetic temperament of future architecture.
When building materials break through the traditional functional boundaries and evolve into a "technology integration interface" that integrates safety, efficiency and sustainability, their value has transcenked the buildings themselves and become a strategic fulcrum for capacity enhancement, cost control and industrial upgrading.
